On the feast of the Holy Family, Sunday, December 28 at 5:00pm*, the Diocese of Sacramento will celebrate the conclusion of the jubilee year with a bilingual Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. 

Deans, Deacon Deanery Leads and Deanery Pastoral Council Chairs are strongly encouraged to attend.

Participants will hear engaging presentations, connect with others across the diocese, and explore practical ways to support the mission of life within their parishes, ministries, and communities.

We are hosting a Mass of Gratitude for the API Catholic Communities on Saturday, January 10 at 11:00am at St. Anne Parish on 7724 24^th Street, Sacramento. Auxiliary Bishop Rey Bersabal will preside at this special celebration and is inviting our diverse API Catholic communities to participate in giving thanks for the graces received during the Jubilee Year. There will be a special recognition to the API communities that have participated in the API Jubilee Masses.

EPISTREPHO is a Ministry Convocation for Youth & Young Adult Ministry Leaders. It will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Sac Newman Center in Sacramento. Mass will be celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Rey Bersabal and a special presentation given by guest speaker Marilyn Santos from the USCCB. Cost is $20 per person (lunch included). Discount is available for parish groups of 10 or more. 

Is God Calling you? This weekend Discernment Retreat is being offered at St. Patrick's Seminary for men age 21 and over who are seriously discerning their vocation to the priesthood.  A priest recommendation is required. 

Inspired by the USCCB’s National Catholic Mental Health Campaign's message that "Everyone who needs help should receive help", this day offers a unique opportunity to step away from daily demands and focus on spiritual renewal and practical learning. 
 

This day that will include Mass with Bishop Soto also offers opportunity for your parish leaders/staff/clergy to gather and reflect on how to compassionately address mental health challenges and eliminate associated stigma, ensuring our parishes are places of sanctuary and support for all God's people.

Join us for a day with Mass, prayer, time for reflection, and talks about the different vocations, learn about the different charisms and ponder where God may be calling you: Married Life, Religious Life, Single Life, or Priesthood.
