Upcoming Events
As we approach the 100th Anniversary of the 6th Apparition and the Commemoration of the Miracle of Fátima, we are graced, in this month of September, with three Marian Feasts: the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, September 8; the Holy Name of Mary, September 12; the 5th Apparition of Our Lady of Fátima, September 13; and the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, September 15. Included in the midst of these feasts: the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, September 14. Quite a month to help us to prepare for the special month of October.

Suggested Parish Activities
- Continue to encourage, among parishioners, the importance of praying the Rosary daily, and as a family.
- Invite families to select a location in the home to set up a Marian altar for the month of The Rosary.
- Use the Month of the Rosary as an opportunity to teach children, youth & adults, participating in the parish's faith formation programs of the value and purpose of praying the Rosary.
- Holy Hour with Adoration & Rosary
- Rosary Processions
- October 13, Mass in honor of Our Lady of Fátima
- Promote the praying of the Rosary at our Catholic Schools
- "Movie Night at the Parish" - Offer an evening showing of a Fátima theme movie referenced on the Diocesan Fátima Website; followed with discussion.
- Encourage parishioners to read a book on Fátima referenced on the Diocesan Fátima Website.
- Encourage a study group on one of the books on Fátima
- Offer an Act of Consecration during the Month of October, especially at the conclusion of your Mass celebrated on the 13th of October.
Pilgrimage to Christ the King Retreat Center
This year, the Diocese of Sacramento, in collaboration with Christ the King Retreat Center, will be acknowledging the Centenary of the Apparitions that took place between May 13 and October 13 of 1917.
In celebration of the 100th Anniversary, you are invited to make a "prayerful visit" - a pilgrimage - to the shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima located on the grounds of Christ the King Retreat Center.
