Who we are:

We are a committee of RCIA catechists and coordinators who represent the parishes in the Diocese. Together with the Diocesan staff, we work with coordinators throughout the Diocese to implement the RCIA process fully within the Diocese of Sacramento.

What we do:

The Diocesan RCIA committee is responsible for planning, coordinating and/or facilitating:

• The Rite of Election in the Diocese (as well as assisting at the liturgies);
• RCIA workshops for catechists and coordinators to help implement RCIA within the parishes throughout the Diocese
• This includes specialized workshops and inviting special speakers to give workshops
• The RCIA committee is also responsible for assessing needs and providing support within the various deaneries in the Diocese;
•  Needs are reported to the larger committee to help plan appropriate training and workshops
