A person receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is morally justified in doing so.
There are concerns of aborted fetal cells from the 1970s being used in the design, development and/or testing phases of the available vaccines. For an individual receiving the vaccine, any cooperation with the morally compromised cell lines from aborted fetuses is remote. There are currently no alternative treatments that do not involve morally compromised cells. Given the gravity of the COVID-19 pandemic and the moral responsibility to care for one another, it is morally justified to receive the vaccine.
We must continue to remain vigilant and not become complacent in protecting the dignity of every human life. Abortion, the taking of an innocent life, is an intrinsic evil. The human person, no matter how small, cannot be reduced to utilitarian purposes. To protect human life, we must work to end the practice of abortion and we must take the necessary, prudent measures to safeguard the health of all, especially the most vulnerable.

Una persona que recibe la vacuna COVID-19 tiene una justificación moral para hacerlo.
Existe la preocupación por el uso de células de fetos abortados en la década de 1970, en las diferentes fases de diseño, desarrollo y / o prueba de las vacunas disponibles. Para un individuo que recibe la vacuna, es remota cualquier cooperación con aquellas líneas celulares moralmente perjudicadas por ser derivados de abortos. Actualmente no existen tratamientos alternativos que no involucren células moralmente perjudicadas. Dada la gravedad de la pandemia de COVID-19 y la responsabilidad moral de cuidarnos unos a otros, está moralmente justificado recibir la vacuna.
Debemos seguir estando alertos y no volvernos tibios en la protección de la dignidad de cada vida humana. El aborto, la muerte de un inocente, es un mal intrínseco. La persona humana, por pequeña que sea, no puede reducirse a fines utilitarios. Para proteger la vida humana, trabajemos para poner fin a la práctica del aborto y tomemos las medidas necesarias y prudentes para proteger la salud de todos, especialmente a los más vulnerables.
