On Wednesday, December 11, the winners of the Diocesan Speech Contest (see related news) shared their winning speeches with Bishop Jaime Soto and the Pastoral Center staff.
Inspired by a tweet from Pope Francis that said, "The Saints were not superhuman. They were people who loved God in their hearts, and who shared this joy with others," the students were asked to address the question: How can you yearn and strive to live as a saint?
