I have received the painful news that St. Anthony Mission in Greenville, CA was destroyed by the Dixie Fire. Our prayers go out to all of our brothers and sisters affected by these fires.
Pray with me for the people of Greenville, Lake Almanor, Colfax and all those afflicted by the ferocious wildfires devastating the region. The destruction of communities and neighborhoods is heartbreaking. May the companionship of our prayers and support bring consolation and renewed faith in the divine mercy of the Lord Jesus. Together we ask the intercession of St. Joseph, the protector of the Holy Family, to protect all families in the region as well as guard from any harm all the men and women who are working to contain the burning conflagrations.
For those who have lost loved ones, as well as their homes and businesses in the recent wildfires throughout California, may they find consolation in trusting that God will provide for all they need. Let us pray.
We pray for those who have been harmed as a result of these fires and pray that those who are missing or are still in harm’s way will be found and protected. Let us pray.
For our first responders, firefighters, the brave men and women battling fires and helping people to safety, may they be kept safe as they work to restore calm and assist those affected by the wildfires. Let us pray.
We have asked each of our priests on a future weekday of their choosing to offer Mass on behalf of all who have been affected by the fires.

He recibido la dolorosa noticia de que La Misión St. Anthony en Greenville fue destruida por el incendio Dixie. Nuestras oraciones están con todos nuestros hermanos y hermanas afectados por estos incendios.
Oren conmigo por la gente de Greenville, Lake Almanor, Colfax y todos los afectados por los feroces incendios forestales que están devastando la región. La destrucción de comunidades y vecindades es lamentable. Que la compañía de nuestras oraciones y apoyo traiga consuelo y fe renovada en la divina misericordia del Señor Jesús. Juntos pedimos la intercesión de San José, protector de la Sagrada Familia, que proteja a todas las familias de la región, así como también protejer de cualquier daño a todos los hombres y mujeres que están trabajando para contener los ardientes incendios.
Por todos aquellos que han perdido hogares, negocios o seres queridos en los recientes incendios forestales en todo California, que puedan encontrar consuelo al confiar que Dios proveerá todo lo que necesiten. Roguemos al Señor.
Oremos por todos aquellos que han sido afectados por estos incendios y oremos para que aquellos que aún están desaparecidos o que todavía están en peligro sean encontrados y protegidos. Roguemos al Señor.
Por nuestros socorristas y los bomberos, los hombres y mujeres valientes que combaten incendios y ayudan a las personas a protegerse, que puedan mantenerse a salvo mientras trabajan para restablecer la calma y ayudar a los afectados por los incendios forestales. Roguemos al Señor.
Les hemos pedido a cada uno de nuestros sacerdotes que, en un día de la semana de su elección, ofrezcan la santa misa en nombre de todos los que han sido afectados por los incendios.
