With faith in the promise of the Resurrection, the Diocese of Sacramento mourns the passing of Deacon Llewllyn “Mike” Urick, who entered eternal life on Sept. 5, 2026, in Alabama at the age of 80.
Deacon Mike was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Diocese of Sacramento on June 10, 2000. He faithfully served the Diocese for more than 21 years, including ministry at St. Basil the Great Parish in Vallejo.
Please pray for the eternal repose of Deacon Mike’s soul and for the consolation of his wife, Sheila, his family and his friends.
