Dear Diocese of Sacramento School Families,
This is a busy yet beautiful time of year as we celebrate God’s gift to us, His son, Jesus. It is a gift of love; one we are called to bring into the world. As you are finishing up last minute shopping and preparing for holiday celebrations, my hope is that you are reminded of Jesus’s love for you.
In the chaos of these last few days preparing for the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, allow Him to illuminate your worth and all that you bring to the world. The love you show and share with your family, friends, and one another is the same love Jesus shows and shares with us. Thank you for your continued support of our Catholic schools where we are blessed to share the message of Jesus each day; its wonder, its joy, and its hope.
Bishop Soto recognizes the continual efforts of our families and Catholic school employees. As a gift to our principals and teachers, schools will be closed Wednesday and Thursday during Holy Week (April 13th and 14th). This small gift allows all to spend time with loved ones and prepare for Easter.

Estimadas familias de las escuelas de la Diócesis de Sacramento,
Esta es una época del año ocupada pero hermosa en la que celebramos el regalo de Dios para nosotros, Su hijo, Jesús. Es un regalo de amor; uno que estamos llamados a traer al mundo. Mientras termina de hacer las compras de última hora y se prepara para las celebraciones navideñas, espero que recuerde el amor de Jesús por usted.
En el caos de estos últimos días, preparando para la celebración del nacimiento de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, permitale iluminar su valor y todo lo que usted trae al mundo. El amor que muestra y comparte con su familia, amigos y entre sí es el mismo amor que Jesús muestra y comparte con nosotros. Gracias por su continuo apoyo a nuestras escuelas Católicas donde tenemos la bendición de compartir el mensaje de Jesús todos los días; su maravilla, su alegría y su esperanza.
El obispo Soto reconoce los esfuerzos continuos de nuestras familias y empleados de las escuelas Católicas. Como regalo a nuestros directores y maestros, las escuelas estarán cerradas el miércoles y jueves durante la Semana Santa (13 y 14 de abril). Este pequeño obsequio permite que todos pasen tiempo con sus seres queridos y se preparen para la Pascua.
