Celebrating the Domestic Church
Marriage & Family Life Ministry Formation Series
Presented by the Diocese of Sacramento Office of Family & Faith Formation (OFFF), Office of Family & Respect Life
A six-part series for Pastors, Deacons, Pastoral Leadership Teams, Marriage and Family Life Directors/Coordinators and Teams as well as teachers, catechists and those who do marriage preparation.
Purpose: To provide solid formation on the Sacrament of Marriage, pastoral implementations of the modern world, and how to prepare our couples for the vocation of married life. The plan of God for Christian marriage begins with a vision of the wholeness of the human person. Genesis states, “God created man in his own image…male and female he created them” (1:27). The aim is to equip marriage preparation couples who are willing to support engaged couples in their journey towards receiving the Sacrament of Marriage. This series will draw insights from Scripture and Church documents, covering various aspects of the Sacrament of Marriage, the fundamentals of marriage preparation, and the Diocesan Marriage policy. Practical applications will be a significant focus of the teachings.
Register today! $90 for all sessions, additional cost for Session 5 (financial assistance available)
