Presented by the Diocese of Sacramento Office of Family & Faith Formation (OFFF) & Diocesan Christian Initiation Committee (formerly RCIA)
A seven-part series for Pastors, Deacons, Pastoral Leadership Teams, DRE's, Christian Initiation Directors/Coordinators and Teams as well as teachers, catechists and those who do sacramental preparation.
Purpose: To form and equip all people in our Diocese of Sacramento to effectively use the model of Christian Initiation, which is the model for all catechesis (Directory for Catechesis), to form disciples who will become apostles and be sent out into the world to “renew the face of the earth” (Ps. 104:40). Drawing upon Scripture and the documents of the Church, this series offers a comprehensive introduction to the Christian Initiation Process (RCIA) according to the mind of the Church. Practical application will be emphasized.
