Music Teacher

Saint Mel School is seeking a passionate and faith-filled part-time Music Teacher to serve students in grades TK–8. This position is responsible for developing and delivering engaging music instruction that incorporates both secular and sacred music traditions while fostering a love and appreciation for music in students. The Music Teacher will lead the school choir, coordinate and provide music for school Masses and liturgical celebrations, and oversee the annual Christmas Pageant in collaboration with faculty and administration. Additional responsibilities include teaching music theory and vocal/instrumental techniques, preparing students for performances, integrating Catholic values into instruction, and supporting the overall spiritual and educational mission of Saint Mel School. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing classroom environment, collaborate effectively with staff and families, and actively participate in the faith life and community events of the school.
